Chorizo Burrito

A simple spicy twist to the classic burrito. Who needs plain ground beef when you can have spiced, flavor packed pork!

Ingredients:

Sun Dried Tomato TortillasBlack Beans
Salsa
Monteray Jack Cheese
Avocado
Chorizo Sausage, casing removed
Onion
Olive Oil

Instructions:

Heat some olive oil in a large pan. Cook sausage and onion until done. Move the sausage around frequently to break it up. Once the sausage is fully cooked, assemble and enjoy!

    • Chorizo is by no means a staple around here either. I like to try foods from many different cultures and we came across chorizo when I made Feijoada which is a Brazillian dish. It is really just spicy seasoned pork but it gave such a great flavor twist over ground beef. Next time we may try another type of meat. Thanks for stopping by!
